Full Name or Display Name Your name
User Name or Account Name Your VCN email address without the @vcn.bc.ca
Email Address Your full email address
Password Password for your Email account

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server mail.vcn.bc.ca
IMAP Port: 143
SSL Port: 993
STARTTLS Port:143
Incoming Mail (POP3) Server mail.vcn.bc.ca
POP Port:110
SSL Port:995
STARTTLS Port:110
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server out.vcn.bc.ca
STARTTLS Port:587

Authentication and encryption is required.

* Requires account activation. See below.

* Using the Outgoing Mail Server ‘out.vcn.bc.ca’ first requires registering for access HERE or by calling the help desk at 778-724-0826. If you leave a voicemail please include the following:

  • VCN email address
  • Your full name
  • Phone number or another way to contact you
  • Mention that you would like to activate your account to send out emails.
