If you're curious about mushrooms, you should plan to attend the Wild Mushroom Show at Richmond Nature Park on Sunday, November 3 from 11am – 4pm. You will discover local autumn fungi, satisfy your curiosity and discover the risks of sampling wild fungi. Admission is by donation, with proceeds supporting nature education programs.

 

Presented by the Vancouver Mycological Society, the show features knowledgeable members of the organization educating residents about mushrooms in local parks and gardens. Residents are encouraged to bring in mystery mushrooms for identification. The public will also learn which local mushrooms are not safe for pets outside on their daily outings.
