Telus is now offering high speed Internet for $9.95/month to seniors that receive $6,500 or more of the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) benefit
You can apply online or by mail.
You will need to provide the following information:
- Full name
- Mailing address
- Phone number
- A copy of your T4A(OAS) tax slip
- Black out the first 5 digits of your SIN and keep the last 4 digits
- Show your name and address
- Show the box 21 amount (“Net Supplements Paid”). $6,500 or more.
- Show the tax year
- Providing your email is optional. Telus would either email or mail you.

Once you are approved, Telus will email or mail you a code and instructions on how to signup for the plan. Telus is offering 25Mbps for $9.95/month plus tax and 50Mbps for $19.95/month plus tax.
