Low-cost Internet for People With Disabilities offered by Telus

Telus is now offering high speed Internet for $9.95/month to People with Disabilities that receive the PWD or Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH) benefit.

You can apply online or by mail.


Provide the following information:

  • Full name
  • Mailing address
  • Phone number
  • Any of the following documentation:
    • BC Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction Confirmation of Assistance statement OR Release of Personal Information.
    • Alberta AISH Monthly Assistance Statement (including the Budget Information stub and Health Benefit card stub)
    • CRA Statement of Canada Pension Plan Benefit T4A(P)
  • Providing your email is optional. Telus would either email or mail you.

Once you are approved, Telus will email or mail you a code and instructions on how to signup for the plan. Telus is offering 25Mbps for $9.95/month plus tax and 50Mbps for $19.95/month plus tax.
