Bask in the eternal light of the greatest choral music in the Choir’s traditional Good Friday concert at the Orpheum. Experience Mozart’s venerable Requiem – one of the most sublime musical masterpieces of all time. And experience the golden sonorities and subtle shadows of Morten Lauridsen’s beautiful Lux Aeterna – a modern classic. Jon Washburn conducts the Vancouver Chamber Choir, Pacifica Singers, Vancouver Chamber Orchestra and special soloists Shannon Mercer and Anita Krause.
