Join us as five panellists representing major stakeholder groups in craft discuss “How can craft define and evolving Vancouver?” The city is trying to rebrand itself; what role can craft and art play in inducing positive change in Vancouver’s culture?

Panelists:

  • Robert Tucker – half of the team producing the successful indie craft fair Got Craft?.
  • Mary Lou Trinkwon – coordinator of the Textile Arts program at Capilano University
  • Gail Rogers – pioneer of the Craft Council of BC
  • Julie McIntyre – artist and president of CARFAC BC
  • Doreen M. Manuel – coordinator of the Indigenous Independent Digital Filmmaking Program at Capilano University.
